Clipper Magazine’s 25-Year Time Capsule has been selected as a winner in the 2009 American Inhouse Design Awards in the poster category.

The American Inhouse Design Awards is presented by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA), the monthly business-to-business magazine for graphic design professionals since 1963. For nearly four decades, the magazine has sponsored competitions that honor the best in creative and business communications. Our “Celebrating 25 Years” Time Capsule created for our end of year ceremony 2008 will be published in the 300-page American Inhouse Design Awards Design Annual–which serves as the July/August 2009 edition of GDUSA–-that will be seen by estimated audience of 150,000+ creative and marketing decision makers. It will also be distributed all year at leading shows and events, and Clipper Magazine will be listed as a winner, with a live link back to us, from our 100,000 visitor-a-month website. There were a remarkable 4,000+ entries in this year’s program from all over the country. In the end, our 25 year poster was one of the 400 honored with a Certificate of Excellence.
Based on the needs of a great impact piece for our 25 year corporate event, the time capsule was created. Memorabilia and memories concerning Clipper Magazine’s history and national events were sifted through and placed into five consecutive posters measuring 7’ x 3’ for a unique visual impact. Along with the magazine’s transformation highlighted on the posters, a printed program was created as well to follow that same time line.
We are all very honored to receive this award for Clipper Magazine.
