Clipper Magazine: Local and National Advertising

Since this Clipper Magazine first blog, we thought it is a good idea to talk more about clipper history, what we do and why we are blogging.

Founded in 1983 by Steve Zuckerman, Ian Ruzow and Bob Zuckerman, Clipper Magazine has grown from a single local, four-page campus advertising publication to over 500 local editions, in 31 states. Mailed seven times annually (more in selected markets), Clipper Magazine reaches roughly 35 million American homes with full-color ads featuring money saving offers. The phenomenal growth of Clipper Magazine has made lots of exciting things possible — including the establishment of a whole division of companies. They offer a variety of interrelated services under the “Clipper” umbrella. Clipper Magazine operates numerous subsidiaries, including:

Clipper Web Development
Clipper Web Development is an experienced and well established web design and development company. From its beginnings as Clipper Magazine’s in-house web department, Clipper Web Development has expanded to serve a broad clientele.

CouponClipper.com

With thousands of local members, CouponClipper.com offers thousands of local and national free coupons. Join the site and start saving!

Loyal Customer Club
Loyal Customer Club is Clipper’s Email Marketing division. It helps businesses targeting their loyal customers via opt-in email with advanced email tracking solutions.

Spencer Advertising & Marketing
A full-service advertising agency that serves a mix of local, regional and national clients while also functioning as Clipper Magazine in-house agency.
The Menu Company
The Menu Company is dedicated to providing local and national restaurants with the best image possible… with their full color take-out and dine in menus.
Why Clipper Magazine Is Blogging?
We believe that blogging is a good way to engage our customers. We helped many businesses succeed on their Direct Mail Advertising and we would like to continue doing that. We are hoping that our blog will become a reference point for direct mail 101, local  and national advertising reference, marketing and brand building tips. We also recommend you to check out the benefits of having a business blog in Clipper Web Development website.
